Interesting article. However, the last illustration is of the Macedonian Phalanx using the Sarissa and the smaller Aspis shield, not Greek hoplites.
well they may be no hoplites but they still are greek,no doubt of that
WRONG! Macedonians were in Macedonia, which is north of greek. They were Like the Greeks( Hellenistic), but were not greeks!
