Samurai helmet
Samurai is the term for the military nobility of pre-industrial Japan. By the end of the 12th century, samurai became synonymous with bushi almost entirely and the word was closely associated with the middle and upper echelons of the warrior class. The samurai followed a set of written rules called the Bushidô . Samurai teachings can still be found today in modern day society with the martial art Kendo, meaning the way of the sword.
The Miniature Japanese Samurai Helmet by Marto of Toledo Spain is a reproduction of a typical Japanese Samurai helmet of the 17th century, called Kabuto, ornated with a frontal crescent crest surmounted by a dragon. Made in cast metal with components in burnished Silver and Gold finish. Provided with a pedestal in plastic material and metallic support.
