Royal Greek Armor

The muscled cuirass has been in use since the mid of the 6th century B.C. The high manufacturing cost limited its spread to only wealthy warriors but its popularity remained constant until the roman age where the same model was adopted by the senior officers.

Here we offer a royal muscled cuirass in the Corinthian style in black metal ornamented with two dragons and a lion head in brass-plated metal in the center of the chest and includes the leather strip belt (pteruges) sewn to the lower edge of the cuirass for leg protection.
