Citadel forge is cold fired, located in Cambodia. Citadel katanas are hand made of European 1075 high carbon steel. Each katana is polished in 5 steps.

Citadel katana blades are heated in a coal fire and forged by hand hammering into the basic shape needed for that particular sword. The blade is then prepped appropriately, coated in clay and precisely heated to the critical temperature for the differential hardening quench.
