United Cutlery turns up the volume on the traditional naginata in the form of this brand new M48 Naginata Polearm. This updated interpretation brings a tactical approach to the fabled naginata with a massive, 10" blade of tempered 2Cr13 stainless steel with a non-reflective, hard coat black oxidized finish. The contemporary design of the shaft utilizes a 30% fiberglass and reinforced nylon material that is virtually indestructible, offering tons of durability and an array of applications. The contoured finger notches and secure grip make the M48 Naginata Polearm particularly effective for thrusting and slashing maneuvers, and at 57-1/2" in overall length, it offers extended reach.
