German Navy Sabre 1890

Used by German Naval Officers in WWI, WWII and through to this day, this dress sword was first introduced in 1890.

The guard is a double-folding guard that locks into the scabbard with a pin.

This German Naval Saber has a high carbon steel blade of unsharpened, tempered steel.

The hilt is of brass with naval motifs. The grip is of faux ivory with twisted brass wire.

The scabbard is of black leather with brass accents and brass hanging rings.

Steel: Tempered EN9 High Carbon Steel.
Overall Length: 36".
Blade: 30 7/8".
