The Arabic Scimitar Cutlass Sword by Marto of Toledo Spain is a reproduction of a cutlass that can be found in the "Museo del Ejercito" in Madrid Spain. Its main characteristics are the crossward, which raises to the handle on one side and descends to the blade on the other side, and its wide curved blade. This wonderfully stylized cutlass is a reminder that Toledo Spain was an important center of sword production during these historical Arab Islamic periods. The 420 stainless steel blade measures 25" in length and 4-1/2" across at the widest point of its tip. Overall length of this beautifully detailed collectors cutlass is 32-1/4".
